Aworie Health was founded in West Toronto, Ontario, from a deep recognition of the need for mental health services that truly reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Our name and purpose are rooted in the belief that well-being should never be detached from a person’s culture, identity, or lived experience. From the beginning, our team of psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, and scholars set out to create a space where every individual — regardless of background — could access care that honours their story and empowers their growth.
