Built for Recovery and Healing

This location is designed to support both direct client care and trusted referral relationships, making it easier for individuals to start therapy and for organizations to connect people with appropriate services. Our team understands the clinical, functional, and administrative realities involved in WSIB, EFAP, and community-based care, which helps us deliver support that is compassionate, coordinated, and goal-oriented.

Evidence for the Effectiveness of Psychotherapy/Counselling

Psychotherapy is supported by strong evidence across common concerns seen in this clinic, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD, with major professional reviews concluding that psychological treatments are effective for a wide range of mental health conditions. For trauma-related care, meta-analytic research has found that psychotherapy produces meaningful and lasting improvement in PTSD symptoms over time. Evidence also suggests employee assistance counselling can improve workplace outcomes such as absenteeism and presenteeism, which is especially relevant for EFAP and work-related mental health support.
