We work with youth, adults and early‑career professionals in Ontario who are trying to balance demanding jobs, relationships, and personal goals while managing their mental health. You might be navigating a new role, burnout in a corporate environment, graduate studies, or a career change, and noticing symptoms like constant worry, difficulty focusing, irritability, or feeling “not good enough.” Our individual psychotherapy services are designed for mild‑to‑moderate concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, imposter feelings, and relationship struggles, so you can get support before things feel unmanageable.

Your journey usually begins with a brief online form, email, or phone call. We ask a few focused questions to understand your situation, confirm that we are a good fit, and answer questions about our approach and credentials. The information collected helps Aworie administrative staff to make more informed and tailored practitioner-client matches, increasing the likelihood of a productive therapeutic relationships.
Mental health assessments are comprehensive evaluations conducted by practitioners to gather detailed information about your physical health, social health, and psychological well-being. These assessment typically involves a structured interview and collateral information, with the aim of understanding the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to your overall health and functioning. The gathered information informs intervention planning, and the development of a holistic and individualized care. This assessment is often used in healthcare settings, mental health treatment, and social service agencies to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to care. In-person assessments are an option with additional conditions applied.

This plan outlines a series of coordinated actions and interventions designed to achieve desired outcomes or objectives. It typically includes: goals and objectives, therapeutic strategies, timeline, resources, communication strategies, homework, and psychoeducation readings.

A maintenance plan is a structured strategy or set of actions designed to sustain and support the ongoing well-being, stability, or functionality of your mental health. It is typically developed after an initial goal or objective has been achieved and is intended to ensure the continued success or effectiveness of that achievement. Key components of a maintenance plan may include: check-in appointments, resource allocation, preventive measures, resilience-building strategies, wellness strategies, and contingency planning.
