Biography

Veronica is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Psychology and additional training in Addictions and Mental Health as well as Autism and Behavioural Science. Over the past five years, Veronica has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals and families, supporting them through various challenges.

At Kinark Child and Family Services, Veronica provided therapy to children, adolescents, and caregivers, helping them navigate emotional and behavioral difficulties, trauma, and parenting struggles. She values the opportunity to assist clients in finding their path toward healing and growth. Veronica also has experience working with international students at Trent University, offering support through life transitions and the unique stresses of living and studying in a new country.

Veronica is passionate about creating a warm, safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. Her client-centered approach focuses on meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively toward meaningful change. By building trust and compassion, Veronica helps clients explore the deeper emotions and experiences contributing to their struggles. She believes in honouring each client’s unique perspective, helping them reconnect with their sense of self and navigate life’s complexities in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
