Sliding-Scale Program
A sliding-scale therapy program is a flexible and affordable mental health service that adjusts its fees based on an individual's income or financial situation. This means that clients pay for therapy on a sliding scale, with fees typically decreasing for those with lower incomes and increasing for those with higher incomes. This approach aims to make therapy accessible to a broader range of individuals and ensures that financial constraints do not prevent people from receiving the mental health support they need.
Discounted Rates
A discount therapy program is a mental health service that offers reduced fees or subsidized counselling sessions to individuals who may be facing financial constraints. This program is designed to make therapy more accessible to newcomers to Canada, students, seniors, and persons living with a disability. By providing discounted rates, these programs aim to ensure that people from various economic backgrounds can still access the mental health support they require.
Acknowledgement
Please note that we have have a high demand and limited spots available for reduced rates. If you are ineligible for a reduced rate and thus pay for services at our regular rates, you will be assisting to allow lower-income Canadians to access our mental health services.
